The Canadian band Metric recently released a track titled “Now of Never Now”. Dubbed an “exhilarating new song” by the Rolling Stone magazine, the composition will feature in their upcoming LP, 'Art of Doubt'. The music consists of drums and various types of synths. The steady rhythm is guided by the group's singer, Emily Hanes. This track follows the previously shared tunes “Dark Saturday” and “Dressed to Suppress”, both of which will be included in Metric's new album. The Norwegian DJ and producer Matoma released the album 'One In A Million' on the 24th of August 2018. In a recent interview to Billboard Dance, he revealed his thoughts about all of the songs which feature in the record. Created in co-operation with the U.K. writer RØMANS, the title track of the album has been described by Matoma as “a song of hope and good energy in the world”. Referring to the belief that every person has a unique story to tell, the single seems to have been designed to spread positivity. Another composition that the DJ commented on is “Sunday Morning” which features Josie Dunne. The inspiration for this particular piece reportedly urged the musician to make a “super Nordic monster EDM song”. He also said that “Lights Go Down”, which contains vocals from James Newman, is his second favourite track from the entire record.
Matoma launched 'One In A Million' in August 2018
Before releasing 'One In A Million', he had created the LP titled “Hakuna Matoma” in 2016. It is a playlist which consists of a collection of dance-pop remixes. Alkaline Trio has recently revealed a new song titled “Demon and Division”. The track has been launched to support the punk rock band's upcoming album 'Is This Thing Cursed?', which will be released on the 31st of August 2018. The group is scheduled to begin touring the West Coast of the United States as from the 3rd of October and fans of Alkaline Trio will be able to see them live in the following venues: The Observatory, The Wiltern, The Warfield and The Complex.
